In this 13-minute video, we create a child grid that’s used inside of a Production Order Grid. In this case, our child grid allows users to drill into the BoM items required to manufacture the finished good associated with the production order selected in the main grid. Child grids are often referred to as detail grids because they are a very simple way to pull line details into a grid displaying header information.
